2013 Berkeley Workshop
2013 BERKELEY WORKSHOP
The TECC Project recently held a workshop at the beautiful historic Berkeley City Club, March 10-12, 2013. This workshop allowed the project's core group and select guests to continue the project's work by exploring the question of whether there is a theology of California; and if there is, what are its salient features.
Papers were presented by Jason Sexton (Ridley Hall, Cambridge), Russell Jeung (San Francisco State University), Paul L. Metzger (Multnomah University), Fred Sanders (Biola University), Richard Pointer (Westmont College), Richard Flory (USC), Bruce Baker (Seattle Pacific University), and Matthew Farlow (William Jessup University). Our workshop's distinguished guest was the University Professor and former California State Librarian, Professor Kevin Starr, addressing workshop participants on the issue of California identity and theology.
