TECC Project panels on Moral Theology: The California Body, Imaged

For the upcoming meetings of the Evangelical Theological Society (Nov. 19-21) and the American Academy of Religion (Nov. 22-24), the TECC Project wil be hosting two panels on California Moral Theology. Particularly, in interdisciplinary theological perspective, we will be exploring ways that the body has been portrayed in California life. These will approach the topic by integrating the theological perspective with the social-scientific, historical, ethnographic, and/or other qualitative or quantitative approaches, addressing issues of critical importance for understanding particular expressions of the body (individual, corporate, ecclesial, environmental, etc.) in the Californian experience.
